Kinkirk was born and raised in Boston Massachusetts by his mother Ms.Kinkirk. When Kinkirk graduated from high school he enlisted in the United States Army. While he was touring over in Iraq he was shot three times. He was discharged from the Army and decided to become a pro wrestler. He would train until he got his big break in 1999. In 1999 Kinkirk debued in the WWE. In 2003 Kinkirk got promoted to general manager of the smackdown brand. In 2012 Kinkirk announced it was his last year in the WWE. In 2004 Kinkirk was hired by his father in law Puppy Camden to work for him, Kinkirk was later named the Cheif Executive Officer of Enwa Wrestling until its close in 2010. In 2012 Kinkirk bought a half a share in both TNA Wrestling and Ring of Honor to create the Ultimate Championship Wrestling. Kinkirk has been married to Lucy Camden for 6 years. Together they have two children Savannah, and Eric.
